LA BATALLA FINAL: SCARLET SCAR VS. MEGAPLATÓN-01

Esto es una continuación de la entrada, «Scarlet Scar se adentra en cuartel general de WIW«
Scarlet Scar ha recibido un duro y fuerte golpe asestado por MegaPlatón-01. Cuando intenta reincorporarse, recibe otro impacto por parte del robot gigante. Scarlet Scar está tendido en el suelo. Inmóvil.
La Gema del brazo derecho de MegaPlatón-01 emite un tenue brillo que se va intensificando velozmente.
Scarlet Scar intenta recobrar el sentido. Se levanta a duras penas. Apenas puede tenerse en pie. Sus piernas no cesan en su tambaleo. Un enorme rayo fulminador es desprendido por la Gema que el robot estaba cargando. Scarlet Scar intenta frenar el ataque alzando su mano derecha a la vez que hacía uso de sus poderes para crear un gran escudo.
La escena había sido invadida por una gran y densa humareda ocasionada por el láser. El brazo desmembrado y calcinado de Scarlet Scar descansaba en el suelo.
Una gran incertidumbre reina en todos los presentes. La gran humareda no deja ver con claridad. Es la ocasión perfecta. Rápidamente, Scarlet Scar se sitúa detrás del robot y utiliza el poder que resta en su cuerpo para degollarlo. Su cabeza sale disparada a gran velocidad y aterriza en los pies del Jefe Supremo.
El Coronel apenas puede tenerse en pie. La inmensa fuente de poder que el Napalm Democrático le había proporcionado ya no residía en su cuerpo. Pero su misión aun no ha acabado, tiene que eliminar al Jefe Supremo. De lo contrario todos sus esfuerzos habrán sido en vano. No puede permitir que la sociedad se vea vilmente manipulada por alguien así.
Fugazmente, el Coronel desenfunda su arma reglamentaria y dispara a bocajarro contra su objetivo final. Desgraciadamente, ninguna bala alcanza al Jefe Supremo. El Agente No Identificado las ha parado (con suma facilidad).
El Coronel no puede creer lo que ven sus ojos. Su mujer, Maggie, es la identidad que se esconde tras el Agente No Identificado.
– Coronel Johnson: Maggie…
– Maggie: Lo siento, pero mi conciencia social es mucho más fuerte que nuestro amor. Haré lo que sea necesario para conseguir una sociedad mejor… Una sociedad que sigue los dogmas de WIW, es una sociedad perfecta.
– Coronel Johnson: Pero… Después de todos estos años…
– Maggie: Has cambiado mucho desde que nos conocimos… He visto como a lo largo de estos años la corrupción ha ido fluyendo poco a poco por tus venas. Un fascista como tú no puede seguir con vida… Lo siento…
Aprovechando la confusión generada por este encuentro inesperado, el Jefe Supremo se pone unas gafas. Éstas empiezan a brillar.
– JEFE SUPREMO (se ríe malévolamente): No tienes nada que hacer Scarlet Scar… El cambio social es inevitable… Gracias a MegaPlatón-01 todos bailarán al son de mis mandatos.
El Jefe Supremo saca un dispositivo que tiene en su bolsillo y lo acciona. De repente, el robot derrotado empieza a cobrar vida de nuevo. Su estructura empieza a modificarse, como si de arcilla se tratara. Las Gemas del Intelecto que tiene adheridas se han fusionado en una sola: LA GEMA DE LA CONCIENCIA SOCIAL DEFINITIVA.
Ahora el robot ha tomado una nueva forma: P. L. A. T. O. N. – 4000. La forma definitiva que harán realidad los deseos (sociales) de WIW. Aprovechando la ocasión, el Jefe Supremo decide dar un discurso maléfico en el que explica sus planes, como todo buen villano que se precie.
– JEFE SUPREMO: Con la Gema de la Conciencia Social Definitiva conseguiré que TODOS tengan una visión muy clara del bien y del mal. Una visión que responderá a mis deseos y a mi juicio. Yo decidiré aquello que es moral y aquello que no lo es. Seré el salvador y justiciero que esta sociedad podrida y marchita necesita.
– JEFE SUPREMO: Agente M, sube al P. L. A. T. O. N.
– Maggie: ¿Cómo…?
– JEFE SUPREMO: La Gema de la Conciencia Social Definitiva requiere de alguien capaz de controlarla. Ahora el robot es un mecha. Necesita un piloto. AGENTE M, SUBE AL P. L. A. T. O. N. y cárgate de una vez a este malnacido.
Maggie se sube al mecha, se conecta a él de forma sináptica y empieza a cargar la Gema Definitiva. El Coronel Johnson, derrotado y sin fuerzas, contempla la escena esperando su inminente, pero aceptada muerte. La Gema está lista para fulminar al Coronel. Maggie intenta dar la orden de ataque al mecha, pero éste hace caso omiso a Maggie. De repente, Maggie empieza a oír una voz dentro de su cabeza.
– P. L. A. T. O. N. – 4000: EL NUEVO MUNDO HA LLEGADO. UNA NUEVA ORDEN REINARÁ Y LA MORAL HUMANA CAMBIARÁ.
De la Gema se desprende un poderoso rayo que se dirige ferozmente hacia el Coronel…. pero… en el último momento, el rumbo del rayo cambia drásticamente y se dirige hacia el JEFE SUPREMO.
-JEFE SUPREMO: ¡¡¡NOOO!!! ¿¡POR QUÉ A MÍ?! TRAIDORA
– Maggie: No te he traicionado. La Gema Definitiva tiene consciencia propia. Es ella quien ha decidido fulminarte. ¿De verdad creías que eras el ser indicado para dictaminar aquello que está bien y aquello que no? Este mecha no necesita ningún piloto. Ya tiene uno.
Maggie se baja del mecha y se acerca con suma parsimonia al Coronel Johnson.
– Maggie: Esto es por lo que he luchado tanto tiempo (señalando al P. L. A. T. O. N. ). Un ser artificial capaz de juzgar las acciones humanas con una auténtica neutralidad. Estaba segura de que la existencia de estos seres no eran más que leyendas. Pero ya veo que me equivocaba, las escrituras estaban en lo cierto…
– Maggie: Por fin ha llegado la hora. Hasta el momento, nosotros decidíamos quien era buena persona y quien no. Pero… ¿No crees que eso carece de sentido? Dependiendo de lo que se incluya en la lista, puedes ser clasificado como alguien respetable y, como digo, una buena persona. Algo así no puede quedarse en nuestras manos. No podemos ser los creadores de nuestras propias normas, porque de esta forma siempre caeremos en la tentación de incluir algo en esa lista que nos beneficie y que nos defina como el bando bueno.
– Coronel Johnson: ¿Por eso has evitado que asesine al Jefe Supremo? ¿Por qué yo no era quién para decidir su destino?
– Maggie: (…)
El P. L. A. T. O. N. – 4000 despega y desaparece en el confín del cielo. Está, dentro de la órbita de la Tierra.
